yoga center in saint paul minnesota offering workshops and classes

Hi Friend,

I am so happy you are here. My name is Ashley, a yoga teacher for humans of all ages and abilities. Yoga is my passion and sharing it with others brings me immense joy. I see yoga as a time to connect with ourselves—mind, body, heart, and soul—through care and compassion. It’s a space to explore our bodies, breath, and emotions without judgment.

When you practice yoga with me, you can expect a welcoming presence, a non-judgemental spirit and a practice that leaves you feeling empowered to be your best self. Together, we’ll use yoga to slow down, connect body and breath, and appreciate who we are in the moment. You’ll be guided by ancient yoga principles that teach us to let go, be present, and understand that yoga is a lifelong journey, not a destination.

In 2020, I began my journey of becoming a yoga teacher at Green Lotus Yoga and Healing Center.  After over a decade of personal practice, I was ready to dive deeper. Teacher Training ignited in me a deeper understanding of not only the postures but of practicing yoga off the mat.

Since graduating in 2021, I’ve expanded my yoga teaching to include hatha, vinyasa, gentle, yin, restorative, nidra and kids’ yoga,  all through a trauma informed lens. This means I strive to guide in ways that are sensitive to trauma and create a safe space.

As an experienced elementary educator, I’m skilled in adapting classes to meet the needs of both groups and individuals. My classes offer options, modifications, and encouragement to listen to your body and do what feels right. Holding space for my students is an honor, and I hope we can practice together soon.

Let’s heal together,

Ashley
